John Gavurnik an esteemed homebuilder for over forty years, and has earned Gavurnik Builders a reputation of superior quality and a willingness to work with buyers to build their dream home. He brings to his role as president over forty years of construction experience. The first decade was spent as a project manager, production manager, and director of construction for Kennedy Brothers, a prominent Chicago-area home builder based in Arlington Heights, Ill, he then joined Nash-Phillips Copus, Inc. of Austin, Texas, and gained additional experience across a span of 7 years as vice president of multifamily construction.
From 1985 to 1988, Gavurnik developed single and multifamily residential and retail projects in Central Texas, and then he joined the C.P. Morgan Company of Indianapolis as vice president of construction, where he supervised the development of more than 1,100 single-family homes and townhomes, from 1988 to 1992. Since mid 1992, over 700 homes have been constructed, including single-family, duplexes, multifamily, and office condominiums.
